While packages and memberships do offer some similar functionalities, understanding their differences is important when deciding which option is best suited to your needs. Let's break down a few different features of each to explore how each may be used.

Group multiple credits together for one or more services and series. | Can be configured to provide credits, access to restricted services, and/or access to online content (courses). |
Purchased with a single payment. Clients may purchase more than one at once and may repurchase at any time. | May be set up requiring a single payment or recurring payments over a set number of terms. Clients cannot repurchase a membership while they hold an active subscription to that membership. |
Provide credits once at the time of complete payment. When purchased during client self-booking, first credit may be used towards the selected booking with only a paid deposit (dependent on service's payment settings). | May provide credits once at the time of subscription or periodically throughout the duration of an active membership subscription. Credit frequency can be customized for each type of credit included in the membership. |
Appear as a purchase option when clients are self-booking any services/series in the booking portal. May also be purchased via the Package Purchasing Portal or added to manual invoices.
