How and when is Campaign messaging charged?
On the 1st of every month, billing for the Campaign messaging usage of the previous month is charged. Usage is based on Campaign messages sent during the period.
What is a Campaign message?
It is a message initiated via an active Campaign. Only the first message within a thread is counted. Client replies and additional messages sent within the thread are not included.
Pricing Tiers
Pricing for campaign messages involves a base monthly subscription price plus tiered pricing based on monthly usage. Each usage tier is charged separately and consecutively. For example, should the current period have enough campaign messages to reach Tier 3 Pricing, you will be charged for Tiers 1, 2 and 3 inclusive.

To see the base price for an email campaign subscription, navigate to your account's Email Settings page and select "Subscribe". The resulting pop-up will display the price of the total monthly charge as well as the pro-rated price for the remaining time in the current monthly billing period.
Note: Simply selecting the "Subscribe" button on its own will not immediately subscribe you to campaigns. There is a secondary confirmation step within the pop-up that is required to add campaigns to your subscription. Only after completing the secondary confirmation will you be charged for this functionality.
