SMS messaging is not available for Free Trials or Starter level subscriptions. It is available for all other subscription levels.
SMS messaging comes with fees from carriers in all jurisdictions. We've listed the tiers below for each currency/jurisdiction. All SMS pricing plans are charged monthly on the 1st of every month for the activity of the prior month. Activity is measured by the number of Segments sent within the period.
How and when is SMS messaging charged?
On the 1st of every month billing for the SMS usage of the previous month is charged. Usage is based on SMS Segments sent and received during the period.
What is an SMS Segment?
A SMS segment is a single SMS message with a maximum character count of 153 characters. SMS messages with more than 153 characters will be split into several segments. For example, if a message of 400 characters is sent it will be broken into 3 separate Segments.
Pricing Tiers
Pricing for SMS messages is tier and usage based, each tier is charged separately and consecutively. For example, should the current period have enough SMS segments to reach Tier 3 Pricing, you will be charged for Tiers 1, 2 and 3 inclusive.
